The West Side affiliate's Prayerful Voice organizes and leads opening and closing prayers for the monthly meetings.

Special events have included the first anniversary Liturgy of Rededication, which was celebrated on September 8, 2003. On March 12, 2004, VOTF was invited to lead the Stations of the Cross at the Church of St. Francis Xavier as part of the parish's practice of inviting various groups to do this during the weeks of Lent. Future plans include a possible weekend retreat day for affiliate members.
